PianoVoiceX3
Silvia Manfrini vocals
Giannantonio Mutto piano and arrangements
Stefano Benini flutes
The concert offers a selection of beautiful songs that have accompanied the everyday life of entire generations since the sixties and seventies. These are timeless pieces connected to the extraordinary voice of Dionne Warwick and later reinterpreted by great artists such as Aretha Franklin, Diana Krall, and even by voices from the world of opera like Anne Sophie von Otter.
The project stems from a passionate research by Maestro Giannantonio Mutto on the songs of the great Burt Bacharach.
In-depth study of the original arrangements has brought to light pieces of great emotional intensity that aim to pay tribute to these extraordinary songs that have made the history of authorial Pop music.
The beautiful songs will be introduced by brief anecdotes about Bacharach's life and collaborators to give listeners the chance to grasp more deeply the spirit that animated that era: it was a different world, where the uniqueness of the individual composer or lyricist had space and the originality of the creative act was supported and promoted.
N.B. Online ticket sales will be available until four hours before the day of the event.
