The town’s patron saint is Saint Valentine himself, to whom the local church, its most significant landmark, is dedicated.
Built around the 12th century, the church was enriched as early as the 15th century with two remarkable cycles of frescoes, one inside and one outside, depicting the stories of Saint Valentine. These artworks make it a place rich in charm, history and spiritual significance.
