Nature, culture, sport, food and wine: explore Garda Veneto cycling!

Mild climate, picture perfect views, strolls along the historical towns, in the hills or up and down the mountains.
Nature, art, history. Plus our vocation to welcome visitors, our love for wine and genuine food, and special services. That is why, if you’re a bike lover and don’t want to part with your twowheeler, especially on holiday, this is the place for you.

With the Malcesine cable car you can go up Monte Baldo with your MTB in 20 minutes, and go from 99 to 1,760 metres up to Tratto Spino, and then dive down for some XC cycling or downhill mountain biking.

Or you can go around the lake with your road bicycle and, if you’re tired, take the ferry to get back, while sipping an aperitif on board.

In Garda Veneto there are bike hotels who welcome both expert and amateur cyclists. They make city trekking bikes available for free to go on the lakefront, and also rent out latest generation bikes, if you can’t take yours with you.

They have their own mechanics, safe storage, shuttle service and special menus for cyclists. They organize daily trips, alone or in a group, with professional guides who know the territory inside out and take you to little known nooks and corners you’d miss otherwise.

Don’t be surprised if you end up cycling with your hotel’s host. They love cycling just as much as you do, and that’s the part of their job they love most!

There are loads of accessible routes and paths: from the easy one running along the Mincio river from Peschiera del Garda to Mantua, to the hardest uphill one which climbs from Brenzone sul Garda up to Monte Baldo to get you to the legendary Punta Veleno!
