The most convenient airports to get to Garda Veneto are the Valerio Catullo of Villafranca di Verona, which is about 20 km from Peschiera del Garda, or the Orio al Serio of Bergamo,
90 km away from Peschiera del Garda. 

At the Catullo di Villafranca the ATV (Azienda Trasporti Verona – Verona Transport Company) has a shuttle bus service, 164 bus line, that gets you to Lake Garda.

Or you can get from the airport Catullo di Villafranca to Verona Porta Nuova train station (buses leave regularly and get you there in 15 minutes) and from there take a train and get off at Peschiera!

Exit at Rovereto Sud (Lago di Garda Nord)
Take route SS249 in the direction of Mori, Torbole, Malcesine
(then follow the directions to Garda).

From the South:

Exit at Affi (Lago di Garda Sud)
Take the direction Bardolino, Lazise, Garda, Malcesine.

From the West:

Motorway A4 Milano - Venezia
Exit at Peschiera del Garda
Take the route SS249 in the direction of Peschiera, Bardolino, Lazise, Garda, Malcesine.

How to Arrive by Train and by Bus

The most convenient train station to get to Garda Veneto is Peschiera del Garda, on the Milano-Venezia line. From there, you can take an ATV bus (Verona Transport Company: www.atv.verona.it) to get to the town of your choice.

As an alternative, you can get off at the Verona Porta Nuova train station. From there the trains to Peschiera del Garda leave regularly, or you can take a bus to the various towns (www.atv.verona.it)!

BY BUS

If you get to Verona, the various towns of Garda Veneto are easy to reach using the suburban public ATV buses (Azienda Trasporti Verona - Verona Transport Company). You can buy tickets at the tobacconist and some tourist information offices. In the summer these bus routes are intensified, and link Verona to Garda going through Peschiera del Garda, Lazise and Bardolino. From Garda, other bus routes go on to Brenzone sul Garda, Malcesine and Riva del Garda.

There are also many bus routes that link Lake Garda’s inland area directly to the towns on the lakefront (info here)

 

Moving by Ferry

Moving by Ferry

To go from one town to the other or from one shore to the other of the lake, you can also take the ferry or the motor ship, or the hydrofoil or catamarans for faster rides. In the routes between Torri del Benaco and Maderno, and between Malcesine and Limone (and back) you can also board cars and motorbikes. You can take your bicycle on nearly all vessels.
