Guided tour of the Pieve di San Pietro

The CTG El Vissinel A.P.S. association has been entrusted by the municipal administration of Bardolino for the year 2025 to promote the church of San Pietro under the Rocca.

This will be an opportunity to rediscover a true treasure of art and architecture. The guardians and “guides” have been found for a gem of the 12th century. The project of the Municipality of Bardolino to reopen the church of San Pietro to the public has begun, a small gem built even before the 12th century at the foot of the Rocca di Garda that has been closed to visitors since 2012 following archaeological excavations that uncovered the remains of a Roman necropolis.

On Monday, June 2nd, the church will be open from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

On Saturday, June 7th, the church will be open from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

On Sunday, June 29th, on the occasion of the feast of the Saint, the church will be open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

On Saturday, July 5th, the church will be open from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

On Sunday, August 24th, the church will be open from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

On Saturday, September 13th, the church will be open and will be explained by a volunteer from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
