Astrolabe, curated by Lucia Amalia Maggio, is one of the eight panels in this series, created with ink and gold leaf on paper. The astrolabe is, technically, the projection of the celestial sphere onto the plane of the Equator and was designed and built by humans starting from the awareness of living between the earth and the sky.
With this work, Lucia Amalia Maggio, in collaboration with Professor Nadia Melotti, explores universal themes of humanity through works that focus on the analysis of physical space.
Free entry with the inauguration on Saturday, August 30 at 6:00 PM.
