In Veneto there is a new path through villages, vineyards and sun-kissed hills.
It is the Cammino di Bardolino, a network of cycle and pedestrian routes that will lead you to discover the territories around Lake Garda. Following the Cammino di Bardolino means discovering breathtaking views and stopping off at the wineries that produce Bardolino DOC. It is a new cycle-pedestrian route, 100 km long, which runs from the hills down to Lake Garda. It crosses the area of the province of Verona with 18 different routes and itineraries varying in length from 3 to 20 km. Six municipalities are crossed by the 18 routes and about sixty wineries are involved.
The municipalities involved are Bardolino, Garda, Rivoli Veronese, Costermano, Affi and Cavaion Veronese. All the routes are mapped and signposted, thanks to 53 information panels. Each sign will be accompanied by a Qr Code that will allow access to a special app. The map also includes parking areas, free of charge. The aim of the Trail is to enhance the historical, cultural and economic heritage of the Bardolino DOC production area.
The project is structured as a tool to spread the knowledge of inland places and to improve the management of hospitality in an area characterised by great landscape qualities and important wine production.
