Panettone con il gelato

The Town Hall square will host the 3rd Edition of the Panettone World Cup - Summer Edition, a competition that celebrates the meeting of two great protagonists of Italian gastronomic tradition: panettone and ice cream.

A day full of events, from free tastings to live ice sculptures, culminating in a challenge among master pastry chefs and gelato makers, who will present to the jury their panettone filled with ice cream, sorbet or semifreddo and a decorated panettone inspired by the theme "amusement parks".

Evaluating the competitors will be an exceptional jury and the judging criteria will include the harmony between the panettone and filling, the correct serving temperature, aesthetics and cleanliness of the cut, in addition to taste of course. The event in Garda reaffirms the commitment to the de-seasonalization of panettone, proposing it as a dessert to be enjoyed all year round, even in summer, thanks to the pairing with ice cream.

The event is free and open to the public.
