Oh Mamma, What a Summer – The Musical

DANCING TALES BY THE FIRE is a journey to discover the roots of Ireland. The origins, myths, traditions, and culture of the Irish people emerge strongly, along with themes related to a tumultuous past that has led the Irish to emigrate multiple times over the centuries in search of fortune elsewhere.
Driven by the narrating voice of a bard, as if they were characters from some distant myth, we follow the protagonists of the story who, through dance, music, and song, tell us about the character and daily life of their land, which has been broken by events that lead them to embark on a long journey to America. It is right here that they will encounter a new culture: Irish dance, symbol of the heart of Ireland, meets American tap dance.
And so, from the meeting of these two artistic expressions, something unprecedented is born, a new outlook towards the future that unites these two cultures in an inseparable way, creating a wonderful fusion of styles and overwhelming rhythms.
