The A22 (Brennero – Modena) motorway runs along the eastern shore of the lake from north to south, while the southern shore is served by the A4 (Milan – Venice), running east to west.

The entire Verona area, including Lake Garda, is served by ATV bus routes, connecting local towns as well as Verona Station, Peschiera Station, and Verona Valerio Catullo Airport.

The closest airport is Verona Valerio Catullo, with easy connections to the lake. Bergamo Orio al Serio and Venice airports are also convenient, with train and bus services to the region.

Major Italian rail companies connect Peschiera del Garda and Rovereto stations with cities across Italy. The lake is also reachable from Munich and Vienna, with connections through Verona Porta Nuova station.
