The magic of Christmas

December 6, 7-8,  12-13-14, and from December 20, 2025 to January 6, 2026, Malcesine awaits you to experience your Christmas surrounded by sparkling lights and fairy-tale atmospheres!

The Scaligero Castle will be transformed into the ‘Children's Castle’ where the ‘Casermetta’ will be decorated with a Christmas theme and where workshops dedicated to children aged 6 to 12 will take place from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm (see programme for dates).

Entrance to the Castle is free for children up to the age of 14.

The Scaligero Castle is open from 6 December 2025 to 6 January 2026 (CLOSED ON CHRISTMAS DAY) from 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. (last admission at 5 p.m.).

The bird of prey show returns to enchant the Castle, thrilling young and old alike... don't miss the special performances during the festive season: 7 and 8 December, 21 December, 27 and 29 December and 3 and 4 January 2026 (from 11:00 a.m to 3.00 p.m.).

The multi-purpose room on the ground floor of Malcesine Town Hall will be transformed into a playroom for children aged 3 to 7, where themed workshops will take place (see programme for dates) from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 3 p.m. to 6.00 pm

The Enchanted Library on 6, 7, 8, 20, 21 and 24 December and from 26 December to 6 January 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 3 p.m.  to 6.00 p.m. (on 14 and 1 January only in the afternoon)

The central Piazza Statuto will host the ice rink and the Bruco Mela from 6 to 22 December from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Sundays from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and from 23 December to 6 January 2026 from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 2 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Ludobus in the gardens: recreational and educational activities with wooden games on 20 and 28 December from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

The square itself will be transformed into a food and craft market from 10:00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.  on 6, 7, 8, 13 and 14 December and from 20 December to 6 January 2026 (on 25 December and 1 January from 3.00 p.m.  to 7.00 p.m.). and a stage will be set up in the square for live performances.

The stalls of the Solidarity Market, organised by Caritas and other local associations, will be located in the garden of the former Pariani Nursery School, with solidarity activities in aid of the needy from 10:00 a.m.  to 4.00 p.m. on 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 20, 21, 24, 26, 27, 28 and 31 December and 3 and 4 January 2026.

The spectacular nativity scenes will provide the backdrop to a magical Malcesine (Cassone ...on the Aril river, Navene, the former Pariani Nursery Garden and the former Bar Enal rooms).

There will also be concerts and evenings of music and... On Wednesday 31 December, everyone will gather in the square for the New Year's Eve party with a live concert by the band Malumida and a FIREWORKS DISPLAY at the port.
