Starting from the stunning Castello di Villafranca, you will embark on a mixed route of quiet asphalt and dirt roads, surrounded by nature, discovering the Moraine Hills of Custoza. Along the way, we will pass through the historic centers of charming villages such as Borghetto sul Mincio, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, and Custoza, famous for its “Custoza DOC” wine and the historic Risorgimento battles of 1848 and 1866.

This journey takes you through historic villas and courtyards, retracing the clashes between Austrian and Piedmontese/Italian armies, with the evocative Ossario di Custoza as a backdrop, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the history and significance of these pivotal moments for the unification of Italy.

An unforgettable ride that blends history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes, perfect for explorers who love to experience Italy on two wheels!

In particular, we suggest:

  • Breathable thermal base layer
  • Windproof technical jersey or jacket
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Long cycling pants or thermal leggings
  • Gloves
  • Headband or cap to wear under the helmet
  • Sunglasses or clear lenses to protect your eyes from the wind

With the right clothing, riding in autumn and winter can be just as enjoyable as in warmer months!
