Bardolino International Triathlon

Exclusive route through the lands of Bardolino, splendid tourist location with the presence of over 5,000 spectators, in the change/finish area, along the lakeside promenades and in the town streets, with 1,500 athletes representing 24 nations.

This year's will be Italy's most popular Olympic triathlon. G.S. Bardolino is delighted to invite you to the 40th International Triathlon. An authentic opportunity to experience sport in three great specialities: swimming, cycling and running! A multi-disciplinary endurance sport in which the athlete covers a swimming event, a cycling event and a running event, in that order, without interruption, the Triathlon is fun, health, a challenge to oneself, enterprise and harmony with nature. It is a young, new sport that brings together the three most popular and practised disciplines in a single event. Competitors must in fact move from one race fraction to the next, demonstrating excellent conditioning skills such as strength and endurance, but also good coordination skills, having to express during their effort completely different sporting gestures, such as swimming, cycling and running. The 'classic' Triathlon, the so-called Olympic Triathlon, takes place over a 1500 m swim, a 40 km bike ride and finally a 10 km run. But there are many variations of Triathlon distances depending on age and technical characteristics.
