Camminando nel Custoza

The gastronomic walk returns among vineyards and breathtaking views over the hills of Custoza, discovering nature, history, and taste.

What to expect: This year the route enriches: 6 delicious stops and one historical stop. 5 wineries with tastings of Custoza doc wines paired with tasty combinations made from local products, a historical cultural stop, and a closing in the square with coffee and a sweet treat.

You can choose between 2 different routes: the YELLOW and the GREEN

Departures every half hour starting from 9:30 a.m. Last departure at 12:30 p.m.

YELLOW Route:

1. Albino Piona: Custoza doc wine - Stuffed focaccia from Faccioli bakery;
2. Aldo Adami: sparkling Custoza doc wine - Cheese from Corte Vittoria farm;
3. Villa Medici: sparkling Custoza doc wine - Grain salad with vegetables;
4. Historical Stop: Custoza Ossuary;
5. Antica Corte Bagolina: Custoza doc wine - Sandwich with salami;
6. Tabarini Damiano and Silvio: superior Custoza doc wine - Tasty meatballs.

GREEN Route::

1. Cavalchina: Custoza doc wine - Stuffed focaccia from Faccioli bakery;
2. Monte del Frà: sparkling Custoza doc wine - Cheese from Corte Vittoria farm;
3. Tamburino Sardo: sparkling Custoza doc wine - Grain salad with vegetables;
4. Historical Stop: Tamburino Sardo House;
5. Cascina Mondator: Custoza doc wine - Sandwich with salami;
6. Gorgo: superior Custoza doc wine - Tasty meatballs.

Custoza Square: final stop with sweet treat and coffee.

Tips & Advice

It is recommended to arrive on-site at least thirty minutes before the scheduled departure for your shift.

A glass and a shoulder strap will be provided on-site.

The walk lasts about 4 hours including breaks at the stopping points.

Suitable For

Everyone, however the route develops on roads not suitable for strollers.

The event is also pet-friendly. It is only recommended to use a leash during the walk and it is remembered that dogs are not allowed inside the Custoza Ossuary monument.
