Festa dell'agola e della Madonna della Salute

In the summer, Brenzone sul Garda hosts numerous festivals such as the traditional Festa dell'Agola and Madonna della Salute in Castelletto di Brenzone, which is celebrated every year on July 10.

The name of the festival refers to the typical lake fish, called “agola”, once considered the “food of the poor” and to the intercession of the Madonna who ended a serious plague that had struck Castelletto in the early 1800s.

For the occasion, on July 10, rich food and wine stands are set up in Castelletto, offering typical local specialties.

At 11 am, there will be the celebration of the Holy Mass and procession in honor of the Madonna della Salute, which will take place in the port area of ​​Castelletto.

The festival continues in the evening in Piazza M.M.D. Mantovani with the characteristic lakeside tables to enjoy fish and with music until late at night with Live Music
