The church of San Giovanni Battista is the parish church of Magugnano. It presumably arose between the 12th and th 13th centuries; it became autonomous towards the middle of the 1400s.
The interior consists of a single nave, overlooked by the side chapels introduced by round arches. Attached is the square bell tower.
On the occasion of the patron saint, San Giovanni, on june 28th the Holy Mass will be held at 5pm and in the evening, starting from 8 pm, a convivial moment in the square adjacent to the church, to celebrate this special day.
