The lakeside of Bardolino is transforming into an explosion of colors: with the arrival of spring 2026, Tulipanomania has returned to enchant residents and visitors, coloring the flower beds that line Lake Garda.
The event, born in 2016 from the collaboration between the Municipality of Bardolino and the award-winning Sigurtà Garden Park, involves the planting of 50,000 tulips and bulb flowers along the stretch from Spiaggia Mirabello (Lungolago Roma) to Punta Cornicello and Lungolago Preite, also extending to the districts of Cisano and Calmasino.
Among the carefully selected varieties, standout flowers include Holland Queen (yellow-red), Toyota (red-white), Menton (pink), Apricot Parrot (orange-white), Belicia (double white-pink), Black Hero (intense black), Sunset Tropical (pink fuchsia), Negrita (dark purple), Banja Luka (yellow speckled with red), Great Barrier Reef (blue), Louvre Orange (orange), and many others, including mixes like Family Van Eijk and Dutch Romance. A true treasure hunt for enthusiasts and photographers.
Access remains completely free; just take a stroll along the lakeside to immerse yourself in a floral carpet that makes Bardolino, according to the official definition, "the most beautiful flowered town in Italy".
The event is part of the broader Tulipanomania Festival at Sigurtà Garden Park, which in 2026 celebrates over a million tulips within its walls in Valeggio sul Mincio, with seasonal reopening on March 7.
This year, Bardolino, together with Sigurtà Garden Park, invites everyone to enjoy an event that solidifies Lake Garda as a preferred destination for those who love flowering nature.
