Via Crucis Vivente
Every year Brenzone sul Garda organizes the traditional Via Crucis, that this year will be on Friday the 3rd April.
On God Friday, amateur actors of Brenzone stage the Passion of Christ with its 14 stations (Via Crucis), from Christ's death sentence to his crucifixion and deposition.
The church of San Carlo Borromeo in Castelletto is the starting point of the Way of the Cross, at 08.30pm. The route passes through many small streets, in the medieval setting of Brenzone, from the center of the town to Biaza, to experience the Easter mystery among the centuries-old olive trees of Garda.
Pilgrims and visitors willl parade in procession along the illuminated route to admire the evocative display.
This year too you will be able to use the free shuttle bus that connects the various hamlets, to comfortably reach Castelletto.
