7:00 PM – Dinner under the stars
Enjoy a delicious mountain-style menu in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Rifugio Novezzina, surrounded by unspoiled nature.

9:00 PM – Journey through the cosmos
Led by the Verona Amateur Astronomers Association (Circolo Astrofili Veronesi), you'll visit the observatory dome, learn about ongoing research, and admire a fascinating collection of meteorites. Weather permitting, you'll have the chance to observe the night sky through telescopes and be guided in recognizing constellations.

Dinner at 7:00 PM:
Dinner includes a fixed menu consisting of a first course, main course, dessert, water, wine, and coffee.

A children’s menu is available for kids up to 11 years old.

After dinner, you can reach the Astronomical Observatory via a path just outside the refuge gate on the left. Walking along the outside of the garden fence, you will arrive at the observatory in about 5 minutes.

Observatory at 9:00 PM:
The observatory visit lasts approximately 2 hours and includes the following activities:

• Visit to the dome with an explanation of the research activities carried out at the observatory
• Presentation of the meteorite collection
• Weather permitting, observation of celestial objects with telescopes and explanation of the constellations

• Dinner is served starting at 7:00 PM.
• At 9:00 PM, a guided tour led by the Verona Amateur Astronomers Association will begin and will last approximately 2.5 hours.
• Small and medium dogs are allowed at the observatory, but only if kept on a leash.
• The guaranteed language is Italian. For an English translation, you can request information at +39 328 849 0414; the service is available only on selected dates indicated in the calendar.

What to Bring

The stargazing takes place outdoors.
As the observatory is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters (3,940 feet), we recommend wearing appropriate clothing.

Even in summer, a windbreaker or warm jacket is often necessary.

Price Information

Set menu (starter, main course, dessert, water, wine, and coffee) and guided tour by the Verona Amateur Astronomers Association:

• €35 adults
• €18 for children aged 6 to 11
• €14 for children up to 5 years old (children’s menu)

Cancellation Information

Full refund up to 6 days before the booked date. Cancellations made between 5 and 3 days before the booked date will incur a charge of 30% of the total amount. Cancellations made 2 days or less before the booked date will incur a charge of 70% of the total amount.

Please note: it is possible to request a date change up to 48 hours in advance.

Cancellation by the provider in the event of unforeseeable extraordinary circumstances is possible, with a refund.
