Celebrated for the battle won by Napoleon here in 1797, which earned him one of his first glorious victories, the town today is a point of historical and natural interest. You can’t miss the moraine cirque, spectacular evidence of Quaternary glaciation, and the striations visible in Canale. History lovers will be enchanted by the Rocca, Forte Rivoli, the Rivoli church, and Sala Massena, which is dedicated to Napoleon. 

It is ideal for cyclists and hikers due to the Ciclovia del Sole and the trails that cross up to the Sanctuary of Madonna della Corona.
