Cavaionese Theatre Summer

In the summer of 1994, some friends organized their first theater festival at the “Teatro Arena Torcolo” in Cavaion Veronese.
Given the strong public appreciation and supported by their shared passion, they decided to form an association that was officially established on February 15, 1995, under the name “Amici del Teatro Cavaionese,” which has since managed the summer theater season in the town.
In 2003, another project took shape: theater courses for adults held by two professional actors from the Estravagario theater in Verona, Ermanno Regattieri and Tiziano Gelmetti. From there, it was a small step to founding a theater company. Under the guidance of the lead actor Igino Dalle Vedove and the director Ermanno Regattieri, the Teatro dell’Attorchio (Actors + Torch) company was born, named after the location where the first rehearsals took place.
