In the heart of October, when the landscape takes on the warm hues of autumn and the air is filled with the sweet scent of grape must and earth, we invite you to experience the history and nature of Custoza in an authentic and immersive way.
Forget the weekend hustle and bustle for a day: this loop trail takes us far beyond the area’s famous Risorgimento history. On a true journey through time, we will follow traces of the Roman era, memories of medieval settlements, the rule of the Scaliger dynasty, and the rural landscapes of the time of the Venetian Republic. Along the way, we will encounter historic 17th-century villas, traditional tower houses, and stone markers scattered throughout the landscape, uncovering surprising stories and little-known anecdotes.
