The tour

The panoramic half-coast naturalistic route from Tempesta to the Busatte Park in Torbole.

Be ready for a 4 kilometers hike involving 300 m of both elevation gain and loss.

You'll find, along the route, three exposed set of stairs (400 steps in total).
This route is suitable for everyone and you'll certainly enjoy the panoramic spots overlooking Lake Garda.

Route description

The route starts in Tempesta, from the main street "Via Gardesana".
Go up on an easy forest road for about 15 minutes.
When you arrive to the crossroad, take the fire break path on the left and go straight on to the Busatte Park.

There are three uphill exposed sets of stairs, for a total of about 400 steps.
Many panoramic spots overlooking the Lake awaits you.

Once the third set of stairs is over, walk for about twenty more minutes to reach the Busatte Park.

From the Busatte Park you can go back, or go down to Torbole to catch the bus to come back to Tempesta or Malcesine.

If your training level is low you can leave from the Busatte Park of Torbole to walk the steps downhill.

Route starting point

You can catch the bus or drive from Malcesine to get to Tempesta. Tempesta is situated 7 km to the north of Malcesine at the end of the first straight road after the first long tunnel.
