The Church of San Michele Arcangelo is the parish church of Calmasino, a hilly district of Bardolino. Located at Via Chiesa 13, it was built in the 18th century. From its forecourt, there is a panoramic view that stretches over Lake Garda to Monte Baldo. Constructed between 1771 and 1774 based on a project attributed to Agostino Rossi, it replaced a previous place of worship documented since 1170. It was consecrated in October 1833. The facade remains unfinished. Inside, one can admire beautiful frescoes on the vault of the nave and valuable stained-glass windows. It is flanked by the small subsidiary Chapel dedicated to Saint Anne.
