An easy circular tour from San Michele to Faigolo, goes back to San Michele leading you to the Church of San Michele.
Be ready for a 5km route involving 280 m of elevation gain and 250 m of elevation loss.
You'll walk on different kind of terrain: tarmac, concrete, white road, muletracks, paths and undergrowth. You should try it if you are looking for a quick training in the middle of nature.
An easy and relaxing tour; we suggest the variation on the path parallel to the white road of Faigo: it is slightly harder but very panoramic.
This is the route n. 8 of the Nordic Walking Park.
An easy light blue route that always enable people to practice the Nordic Walking technique. The variation of the route, parallel to the white road of Faigolo, is not suitable for Nordic Walking, as there are some sections in which this technique can't be practiced.
From the Malcesine Monte Baldo half-way cable car station take the uphill street on the left towards Mount Baldo following the road signs to Prai.
At the crossroad with the concrete road of Prai, go down on the left and turn right on the white road to Faigolo. Go straight on until you find a large meadow in Faigolo and, at the beginning of path n. 10, go back to the crossroad with the concrete road of Prai. This time, instead of going up where you came from, go down on the right and keep going straight on for about 1 kilometer, first on concrete then on tarmac road.
Take the uphill concrete road that later change into a mule track going up to the little church of San Michele. Immediately after the beginning of the mule track turn right and keep going uphill to the little church. From the little church keep going left to the Malcesine Monte Baldo cable car halfway station where this circular route ends.
This is route n. 8 of the Nordic Walking Park.
From Faigolo, at the large meadow, take the downhill path on the left with road signs to Fubia. After a few meters, take the little street on the left which presents only horizontal road signs. This little street, with some flat sections and some ups and downs, leads to a mule track situated under the cableway station. Keep going on the last uphill part of the muletrack to end up on the tarmac road leading to the cableway. From here keep going downhill on the right and take the first uphill street to get to the little church of San Michele.
Leave from the Malcesine Monte Baldo cable car half-way station.
