Such as the trails that weave their way through the olive groves on the hills above Malcesine.

Or more demanding options into quieter and more remote areas for experienced mountain bikers.

Monte Baldo, a natural balcony overlooking Lake Garda, is trail heaven for mountain bikers!

Lake shore cycle path

The lake shore is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a ride on routes which are also suitable for children.

Malcesine is the starting point for an array of rides to nearby villages.

Thanks to the Garda By Bike project, a number of routes have been created featuring spectacular sections right next to the water.

You can try out the cycle path between Malcesine and Navene (around 11 km): from the beach in Malcesine, take the cycle path towards campagnola, passing the Malcesine sailing club, then take the first road on the ride and after a short climb you reach Navene.

Or you can ride along the cycle path from Malcesine to Brenzone, around 17 km.

This route explores the eastern shore of Lake Garda, passing through beautiful villages, with some sections where you will need to push your bike.

This route is suitable for everyone as it does not feature any particular difficulties. Indeed, the route is almost entirely flat.
