A small glacial lake nestled in the morainic hills south of Lake Garda, between the villages of San Benedetto di Lugana and Broglie.
The "laghetto del Frassino" is a small jewel in Peschiera. It is a lake of glacial origin and its surface area is around 80 hectares, 770 m long and 380 m wide.
Since 2017, it has become part of the UNESCO World Heritage for Prehistoric Pile-Dwelling Sites that populated it over the centuries. It is also marked as a FAI property, the Italian environmental fund, and has been declared a Protected Natural Oasis since 1996 for its floristic and faunal peculiarities.

Walking along the path around the pond takes approximately 15 minutes, during which you can relax in this beautiful oasis while having a picnic, or go birdwatching in the two wooden huts along the way.
From the centre of Peschiera del Garda, this lake can be reached in about 40 minutes on foot by following the road.
