IAT Valeggio Ufficio Informazioni e Accoglienza Turistica

The aim of our Tourist Information Office is to contribute to the organisation of accommodation in the town, to encourage and support the improvement of services, to promote conventions, fairs, shows and festivities and to protect and enhance the beauty of Valeggio sul Mincio.

Pro Loco Valeggio was founded on 29 November 1974 by 18 founding members with the aim of bringing together all those who cared about the touristic, cultural and environmental development of Valeggio sul Mincio. In particular, according to the statute, “the main aims of the association are: to contribute to the organisation of accommodation in the country, encourage and support the improvement of public services, promote conferences, fairs, public performances, celebrations, protect and enhance the natural beauty, art and monuments of Valeggio”.

Throughout the years, the Pro Loco Valeggio has grown, pursuing many of its initial goals, establishing a strong cooperation with the Municipal Administrations, interacting also with other local associations and economic bodies.

Thanks to the commitment of its volunteers, Associazione Pro Loco Valeggio has always been involved in the organisation of numerous traditional and folkloristic events, as well as large events, concerts, theatrical performances and entertainment shows.
