The electric car charging service by Poste Italiane operates through the new charging stations installed in the parking lots of post offices. Activation and payment take place via the apps of the main providers (such as Enel X or Plenitude) or with a credit card. The stations offer two sockets with power up to 22 kW.

Here’s how the service works in detail:

• Accessibility: The stations are open to everyone 24 hours a day, even to those who are not Poste customers, and are equipped with 4 power points.
• How to start charging: To "fill up" with energy, you can use the mobile application of the charging station's provider, or make a direct card payment through the integrated contactless reader.
• Power: Each socket provides a power ranging from 7 to 22 kW.
• Availability: This initiative is part of the Polis Project, designed to promote sustainable mobility especially in small towns and municipalities in Italy with up to 15,000 inhabitants.
