La Taverna Marconi

In Lazise, along the Marconi lakeside promenade, stands an impressive 19th-century building that is now home to two restaurants, one of which is La Taverna Marconi. Once the summer residence of Princess Caterina Strauss, the property also featured its own boathouse. Following a careful restoration, it now houses La Taverna Marconi, a restaurant that captures the vibrant spirit of Lake Garda both through its menu and its beautiful large windows overlooking the lake.

The taverna offers guests a rich menu featuring a wide selection of Italian specialties. Its delicious starters follow the seasons, as the careful selection of high-quality, seasonal ingredients is an integral part of the restaurant’s culinary offering. The fish dishes, together with traditional specialties from the Lake Garda region, are among the highlights of the menu. The house specialty is roast chicken with potatoes, particularly appreciated for its careful cooking and unmistakably succulent flavor. Naturally, Italian pizza is also part of the offering. It is prepared according to traditional methods using live sourdough starter, carefully selected flours made from Italian wheat, and a 72-hour fermentation process.
