Lega Navale di Garda

The Italian Navy League - Garda section was founded in 1972 as the "Garda Sailing Fraternity" and became a peripheral structure of the Italian Navy League, adhering to its purposes and statute; in the same year, it joined the Italian Sailing Federation.

The section organizes regattas throughout the year, and many members engage in competitive activities, including international events. There is also significant involvement in social initiatives, with concrete collaboration with the Municipality of Garda, the Civil Environmental Protection of Bussolengo, the Department of Computer Science at the University of Verona, and ARPA Veneto. Activities for section members are developed through thematic meetings for in-depth knowledge and updates in the nautical sector, as well as various social events.

It also organizes summer sailing courses for children and teenagers aged 6 to 17 and educational outings on a cabin cruiser for all levels.

The Garda section manages and oversees several buoys in the area in front of its headquarters. Evening canoe outings are also planned to enjoy the sunset.
