Exhibition dedicated to the fishing tradition of Peschiera del Garda and the cultural heritage of local lake communities.
The museum is located in the Radetzky Hall (former Gunpowder Laboratory) within the Artillery Barracks of Porta Verona. Inside, visitors can discover a rich collection of nautical instruments used for navigation on Lake Garda, historical photographs, and traditional fishing equipment. Among the most notable exhibits are a typical late 19th-century anguillara fishing boat, a torbetta used to keep caught fish alive, and a spingarda, a device used for duck hunting.
The exhibition is the result of the dedication of the association “Amici del Gondolin”, which has contributed to the preservation and enhancement of this valuable local heritage.
