The restaurant Alla Borsa, an elegant establishment situated in the historic center of Valeggio sul Mincio and managed since 1959 by Alceste Pasquali with the valuable help of his wife Albina Stanghellini, takes its name from the ancient function it once served, thanks to its strategic position: it was once a tavern where local merchants would gather to finalize contracts.
Currently, the management of the venue is also entrusted to the daughter Nadia, who, in collaboration with a highly capable team of cooks and waiters, ensures a careful and multilingual service: Nadia and her floor staff, Isacco and Roberto, speak English, German, and French. On the other hand, Mirko is in charge of the wine selection that will accompany your meals.
In a modern environment, you can taste delicious stuffed pasta, including the classic Nodo d’Amore, the true tortellino of Valeggio s/M, as well as tortelli filled with seasonal vegetables, succulent roasts, and braised dishes personally prepared by the owners. The venue also has a garden with a view of the ancient Scaligero Castle during the beautiful season, where you can enjoy fresh summer carpaccios.
