In memory of the sailors.



The "Al Marinaio" Monument in Bardolino is a floating and modern work located on Lungolago Cornicello, facing Villa delle Magnolie. Inaugurated in the spring of 2001 and designed by architect Stefano Fornari, the installation is particularly known for its fountain gushing directly from the waters of the lake. Requested by the local association "Sante Alberti," the work honors the sailors who lost their lives in the waters of Garda. It is characterized by a modern platform that extends into the lake basin with water games and serves as an evocative panoramic observation point for a stroll.
