The skate park is accessed via the Rivalunga promenade, which links Bardolino to Garda. The facility is situated in the green area between the basketball court and the fenced-off dog-walking area. It will be open at all times and may be used by skateboarders, BMX riders and roller skaters, but not by push scooters.
The new skate park is a social hub and an attraction of interest to young residents and tourists alike, capable of hosting sporting events. It has been constructed using in-situ concrete which, through excavation and earthworks, has created a structure integrated into the public park, minimising its impact. The area is laid out over several levels, covering a total surface area of approximately 800 square metres: it features obstacles typical of street furniture, such as handrails, ramps and low walls, for the practice of ‘Street’ skateboarding, and two sections with low walls and handrails to meet the standards set for FISR (Italian Roller Sports Federation) regional competitions.
