A difficult tour, leading you from Malcesine to Prada passing through the hard and famous ascent of Punta Veleno of Brenzone sul Garda.
On the way back to Malcesine, you will pass through San Zeno di Montagna.
Be ready for a 50 kilometers tour involving 1399 m of elevation gain and loss.

Punta Veleno is hard but not impossible, it's a challenge with yourself and you could have the satisfaction to say you have tried the famous ascent of Punta Veleno.
Ride your bike from Malcesine heading South to Assenza di Brenzone.
When you get to the roundabout, go up on the left on the tarmacked road and ride to the South until you get to Castello. At the entry of the little village take the first uphill street on your left where Punta Veleno starts.
From km n.2 to km n.8 the ascent has an average gradient of about 14,6% with some spots presenting a gradient of about 20%.
At the end of Punta Veleno, keep going towards Prada and go down to the lake passing through San Zeno di Montagna and Castelletto di Brenzone.
From Castelletto come back to Malcesine riding your bike to the North on the Via Gardesana.
Don't go down from Punta Veleno riding your bike!
