An easy but unique trail, from Sommavilla to the Balot tacà via, an embedded boulder on two high rock walls.
You will cover 2km on 350m ascending and 129m descending height difference.
You can reach the Balot tacà via walking for about 40 minutes going up the dry stream bed in the Val Torrente.
it is better if you avoid this tour during rainy days or after heavy storms. The trail is easy but wear proper shoes anyway because you walk on loose rocks and stones.
In front of the parking lot of Sommavilla there are steps that go up to Monte Baldo. From here starts the uphill trail between fields that you will follow for about 550m.
The Balot tacà via is in the valley on your left: enter the valley descending a short trail on the left.
At the beginning of the valley after a few meters there is a wall to climb over, a bit more than two meters. It is equipped with a ladder: it's easy but be careful anyway.
Keep going uphill another km along the stream bed and the Balot tacà via will appear in front of you.
Coming from Malcesine by car, at the first roundabout after Cassone, go up on the left for Sommavilla. Here you find the parking lot at the end of the ascent, on the right.
