The tour

An easy, ring-shaped route, leading you from Cassone to Sommavilla/Assenza and connecting the Nordic Walking Park of Brenzone with the one of Malcesine.
In fact, the first Nordic Walking Park routes of Brenzone start from Sommavilla/Assenza.

This is the Nordic Walking Park number 7 route, it is light blue and it is suitable for anyone.

Be ready for a half kilometer walk involving 150 m of elevation gain and 90 m of elevation loss. It's a panoramic route along the beach, the hills and around the little town of Cassone. The view of the Trimelone island in front of Assenza is really nice.

Route descripion

Start from the beach in Cassone and head South on the cycle lane until Assenza, just in front of the Trimelone island.
After the small roundabout in Assenza, cross the Gardesana street and take the first uphill street.

Go straight on, uphill, passing through the paved road of the little villages of Brenzone and immediately after turn left, heading North. Go ahead until you reach Cassone. Go down on the left when you get to Cassone and go back to the beach to end the itinerary.
