Looking at it today, Villa Bottona resembles a castle immersed in greenery, with crenellated walls and a tower peeking over the lake, a few steps from the blue waters of Lake Garda. The villa, named for the large barrels where once the produced wine was stored, takes on its current neo-medieval appearance only at the end of the 19th century.
The original construction is much older, but before 1872 the history is lost in the mists of time. What is certain is that those who lived in Villa Bottona before took care of the land, enjoying the beautiful climate of the lake.
Today it is open as a wine relais.
