The luxurious summer residence of the Counts of Maffei, seigneurs of Valeggio and Monzambano since 1649. The architect Vincenzo Pellesina (1637-1700) designed and built it. Palladio’s great works inspired him.

The style of the villa marks the transition from Baroque to Neoclassical. On the façade, above the loggia, a plaque commemorates the old investiture of the Maffei family. The Villa has private rooms and gardens that are the theatre of prestigious ceremonies, gala evenings, weddings, conventions and events.
