About 100 meters from the Town Hall, immersed in a large centuries-old park now accessible, stands Villa Trevisani-Calderara, an elegant 19th-century residence and currently the home of the "Cavalier Romani" kindergarten. This large and noble dwelling is listed in the regional registry of Venetian villas.
On a hill near the villa, at the end of a staircase, one reaches the Guglia: a circular tower that was built simultaneously with the villa, from which the owners could enjoy a stunning view of the entire territory. Its original name was “Torre Gabriella,” in memory of a daughter who passed away prematurely. During the Risorgimento uprisings of 1848, it was also used as a military lookout point, while the villa itself was contested between the Piedmontese and Austrians.
Today, the villa hosts a kindergarten and, during the summer, the park becomes a setting for outdoor weddings, musical events, and theatrical performances.
