This place is organized on terraces immersed in greenery, with graves marked by stone slabs and a central memorial featuring a bronze sculpture dedicated to the fallen. From the top of the cemetery, there is a wide view of the lake, vineyards, and the Alpine mountains. At the entrance, there is also a small documentary space that tells the events of the war in Italy and the history of the place.
In this cemetery rest 21,993 fallen from the Second World War. The complex is maintained and preserved by the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge, the organization appointed by the German government to ensure the maintenance and protection of German war cemeteries around the world.
