Immerse yourself in the woods surrounding Ferrara di Monte Baldo and experience the excitement of a real Truffle Hunting adventure, searching for truffles alongside a licensed Truffle Hunter and his loyal dog. An authentic activity, limited to a small number of participants, that will allow you to discover one of the most fascinating treasures of the area.

The experience begins with a brief introduction to the world of truffles: their biology, search techniques, the valuable role of the dog, and the rules that guide ethical and sustainable harvesting. Following this, you and the group, depending on the day's conditions, will embark on a guided walk through the woods or within a controlled truffle field.

Along the way, you will discover the symbiotic trees, learn to recognize the signs of the ground, and understand the good practices that contribute to the protection of this delicate ecosystem. You will closely observe the perfect synergy between the truffle hunter and his dog, experiencing something authentic and far from the more conventional paths.

With a duration of about 2 hours, this activity is designed to be accessible, engaging, and deeply connected to the nature and traditions of Monte Baldo.

An immersive Truffle Hunting experience including:

• Short theoretical lesson on truffle biology, search techniques, and the role of the dog
• Guided walk in a truffle field or in a natural forest with a certified truffle hunter and his dog (the location will depend on the weather conditions).

Not Included Services

Traveling 1 to 3 km by your own car to reach the starting point of the truffle hunting walk.

Possible lunch at the Baito Novezza restaurant (service that can be added during checkout at a cost of €45)

• Tagliatelle tossed with truffle

Opening Hours

• The experience takes place, by reservation, every Saturday of the month starting from August 2026 until January 2027, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
• The experience is conducted in both languages, Italian and English, but translation into German is also guaranteed.
• The experience has a total duration of 2.5 hours including travel time.

Suitable For

Accessibility: the experience is accessible to people with disabilities when it takes place in the natural truffle grove, where there is a paved and flat path, accessible also to wheelchair users. The controlled truffle grove, on the other hand, is not accessible.

Suitable for children: the activity is suitable for younger children, provided they are accompanied by an adult.

Animals: to ensure the proper conduct of the activity and not interfere with the work of the truffle dog, access for participants' dogs is not permitted.

• Truffle Hunting – (0-5) years: Children aged 0 to 5 years participate for free. If the booking includes a child in this age range, please let us know in the Notes before completing the booking.

Cancellation Information

In the event of adverse weather conditions and unforeseeable events that prevent the experience from taking place, the provider reserves the right to cancel the reservation, offering the customer the option to reschedule the experience or receive a refund of the amount paid.
