Route description

From Panorama Hotel, on the Via Gardesana, take the uphill paved street with road signs to San Maggiore/Malga Fiabio. Keep going uphill and, once you reach the junction, turn right. Go ahead on a concrete street, then on dirt road keeping on the left until you cross the path leading to Fiabi. Go back now, turn left and go straight on a white road and on tarmack, then take the first path on the right with road signs to San Michele.

After about 100 metres, turn downhill on the left, after 400 metres turn right; at the first and at the second junction keep on the left and then go uphill on a short section leading to the Via Panoramica. Go down on the Via Panoramica for a few metres and take the little street with the steps that you can find on the left. Cross the Via Panoramica and keep going downhill on another stretch presenting mixed grounds and mule track leading to the tarmacked road to Rocchetta. Go down on the left now, keep going straight on until you get back to the Via Panoramica. Walk to the South for a few metres to reach the Panorama Hotel where the circular tour starts.

Short variation

Everything is unchanged. At the beginning, after the first junction on the right, take the muletrack on the left leading to the tarmacked road just before the little street that you can find along the path leading to San Michele. In this case the route is reduced of about 1,5 km.

How to reach the route starting point

From the Tourist Information Centre in Malcesine, head south and take the Via Panoramica. Follow this road for about 4 kilometers until you find the Panorama Hotel on your left at the end of the hairpin turns.
