This is the n.1 route of the Nordic Walking Park.
An easy route, light blue. Leave in the plain on the cycle lane and come back walking on a light ascent. This route always enables people to practice the Nordic Walking technique.
Leave in the plain on the cycle lane and come back running on a light ascent and on a light descent on the way back. The ascent is about 2 kilometers long. We wouldn't recommend this route during the hottest summer hours because there aren't any shady spots in the first section which is located in the cycle lane that runs along the lakefront.
From Malcesine you go down to Paina, to the North of Castello, along the beach and keep going straight on the cycle lane passing through the small port of Rettelino and the paragliding landing area.
Once you reach Campagnola, at the Hotel Sailing Center, cross the Via Gardesana and go up on the tarmacked road leading to Via Navene Vecchia.
Head south, always uphill and take the small street that you can see on your right, immediately after the B&B Casa Benamati.
Keep walking toward the South on a small uphill pedestrian street that cross the olive tree groves for about 1,5 km.
When you get to the end of the little street you are on Via Navene Vecchia.
Keep going South on a small section in the plain and then downhill until you get to Malcesine.
This is the n.1 route of the Nordic Walking Park: the Sottodossi circular tour.
This is the shorter variation: after the cable car station, before the ascent, take the street on the left to Località Sottodossi and keep going straight on a dirt road that stretches inside an olive tree grove. Once the dirt road is over, go down on the left on the steep descent ending up on the cycle lane.
Keep going on the left now, heading to the South and go back to Malcesine walking along the beach.
Leave from the Tourist information Centre of Malcesine, at the bus station, on the Via Gardesana.
