This route stretches along the beaches and in the lower hilly areas of Malcesine.
A 12 km tour involving 600 m of both elevation gain and loss awaits you.
It's an easy and very panoramic tour, 90% of it is on tarmacked road. It's perfect for taking a break and feeling active or just to go for a dip into the lake during the summer.
It's an easy tour suitable for everyone. Be ready for some small but never too demanding ascent.
It's a light blue, easy route. Be ready for some small but never too demanding ascent.
Flat sections alternate with some small ascents and soft descents. It's a good alternative for medium trained people who feels like running not only on the cycle lane along the lake front.
A quick tour, perfect for families. Easy and short but with some small ascents which can be difficult for kids.
When you get to the main roundabout in Malcesine, on the via Gardesana, go down towards the lake, along Via Garibaldi and keep going south to the beginning of the lakefront. Go down up to the end of the lakefront and take the ascent to Val di Sogno. When you get to the Via Gardesana, take the street on the right to the beautiful bay of Val di Sogno.
When you reach the half of the bay, before La Voglia Restaurant, you can find on the left a small uphill street leading to the Via Gardesana. Cross the street and keep going on another uphill street. When the little street becomes flat and slowly goes left, take the little uphill street on the right to Dos del Pis.
You come out on one of the hairpin turn of the Panoramic street, when you reach this spot, go down on the left towards the town, pass through it heading North and when you arrive to the small roundabout go up on the left taking Via Navene Vecchia.
Immediately after the cableway, before starting the ascent, turn left to Località Sottodossi, passing through some olive tree groves on a short dirt road.
Once you get to the end of the dirt road, go up for a few metres on the steep ascent on the right and, after a short set of stairs, turn left along a light small pedestrian only street leading to Campagnola.
Here you can go down to the beach and then back to Malcesine heading South on the cycle lane.
Leave from the Tourist Information Centre of Malcesine, at the bus station, on the Via Gardesana.
